About

Simone Nichols-Segers is a firm believer in the power of public policy to create change for good.

Simone has two decades of experience across nearly every aspect of nonprofit government relations. Beginning her career as a statewide grassroots organizer, she partnered with advocates and communities to drive effective advocacy campaigns. She has worked with legislators to move policy from initial draft to passage in multiple states and has written legislative language that became the model for similar bills nationwide.

In her most recent roles as Associate Vice President of Advocacy and Policy at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and Vice President of Policy at the Hemophilia Federation of America, she was responsible for developing national policy agendas and leading advocacy operational and strategic planning.

Simone founded Elevated Voices Consulting to make the legislative process more accessible, encouraging advocates and organizations to fully participate in every stage of the lawmaking process.
